ABOUT COLLEGE
Government Degree college Chamba was established on 15th May, 1958 as a co-educational institution by the Government of Himachal Pradesh. The college has creative team of 67 faculty members and 4052 students enrolled in undergraduate and post-graduation programs in the session 2020-21. It is recognized by University Grants Commission, New Delhi under section 2(f) and 12B of UGC act 1956. The college is affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla and all its currently running programs have been granted affiliation by it. In August, 2022 after due assessment it was reaccredited with Grade "B++" by NAAC.
